We practice a system of moving cattle that is called Management Intensive Grazing.  It involves moving the cattle each day.  This allows for them to receive the highest level of nutrition from the pasture.  This makes all the difference in how healthy they are for you to eat.  Our cattle are never fed grains, hormones or antibiotics to increase their rate of growth.  This is very lean meat. 

In the summer, the manure is spread evenly throughout the pasture.  In the winter, we put our cattle on deep bedding.  This helps to capture the manure so we can utilize it in the spring.  It also keeps the pasture in good shape for early spring growth.
